State of outer space

Lubos Perek

pp. 173-182

At this colloquium we are discussing the building of large structures in outer space capable of accommodating hundreds of people, possibly thousands. We are not building these structures now because the technology and the finances are not available, yet we might be, through our other space activities, deciding about the possibility to build such structures at all, or at least about the difficulties which will be encountered during the construction phase.
