If we now delve into our investigation of active objectivation, 20 the latter, as we know, necessarily refers us back to realms of objects178 that are already pre-constituted, realms of objects that are contained in the potentiality of the background. They will be, in part, well-known objects that we got to know little by little in previous acts. They have sunken into the background with their 25 structure constituted in activity, and if we are able to take note of them again, we then encounter them with the character of familiarity
